of the environment lead her directly to photography over 30 years ago.
Subsequently, her love of gardens and paradise led her to the Florida
Keys 15 years ago. Interested in historical and theoretical concepts of
paradise, Lynne's images describe not only physical space, but the
spirit and experience of the place. She is a scholar/artist and shares
her passion for photography and the environment with her students.
Presently she is a full-time instructor of photography at Florida

Carol TedescoIt
was probably Frances Hodgson Burnett's rapturous descriptions of some
of the moments when "one is quite sure one is going to live forever and
ever and ever..." that fertilized my awareness of our natural world as
a conscious and constantly unfolding entity. Producer Erika Biddle and
the women featured in this calendar are each outstanding advocates for
planet earth, and in my photographs I hope to have been able to convey
a sense of the unique spirit of each of these remarkable women.

23 years I have sat on my couch in the living room looking out the 5'
by 9' bay window at my beautiful garden--palms, walnut and Poinciana
trees and tropical flowers. The garden has changed many times over the
years, and has evolved recently into a wedding garden. Many times I
thought to myself, all that greenery deserves scantily clad women
scampering about, like nymphs and sprites. And thanks to this calendar,
my wishes have been granted (though none in my garden). But that's all
right.
